Bound apprentice by Indenture to Matthew Smith, Titchfield Street, Oxford Market [London], plaisterer, for 6 years, about 1788. Served Smith there for 3 years, following which Bardolph and Smith parted by mutual consent, Smith giving up the Indenture. Stated that the King’s Duty on his indentures was unpaid. Married Rebecca Guess at St. Paul’s, 8 October 1793.
