- Scope and ContentBorn at Worksop, Notts., where his father Robert was a parishioner. Bound apprentice by Indenture to Thomas Jenkinson, Worksop, blacksmith and farrier, for 7 years in about 1776, the King’s Duty on the Indentures being paid. Served about 3 years 6 months of his apprenticeship in Worksop, following which he enlisted into the Army, his master giving up his Indenture on Storrs’ enlistment. Served in the Army continuously until the present. Married Mary Gascoigne at St. Paul’s 3 January 1793
