- Scope and Contentwhen she came from London she left her box at her aunts for more than a fortnight. On 21 April she asked a boy to take it to the Price Albert where she was lodging. On 22 she found in the box a chemise which was not hers. She left it clean for more than a week and no one made enquiries. When they came for it she gave it up and they put her in the charge of the police.
