(a) assigns to (b) within granted messuage, term of years etc for remainder of term of 1000 years, in trust for (c) to intent that said term may be kept on foot to attend the inheritance of said premises.     Details of lease and release: (i) Michael Woodward, Wroxhill, Marston Moretaine, tailor, and wife Elizabeth (daughter of Rebecka Hubbins, widow) (ii) Robert Squire, Marston Moretaine, gentleman. Consideration £634 10s paid to (i) by (ii). (i) release to (ii): -- new erected messuage in Wroxhill, late in tenure of said Michael Woodward and now of (ii) -- 12 closes arable and pasture near adjoining (65 1/2 acres) West Grove of Thomas Basterfeild, and Henry Wheeler North Thomas Baker, Thomas Pearce, gentleman, Thomas Basterfeild, Thomas Partridge, and common highway from Cranfield to Bedford East Thomas Pearce South Common Field and Bushy Lawne called Ley Close (10 acres), Fish Pond Close (5 acres), Hill Close (5 acres), Gate Close (1 acre), Home Pightell (1 acre), the hanging of the hill (7 acres), Little Bottom (2 acres), Midle Bottom (4 acres), Great Bottom (5 acres), Coldome (7 1/2 acres) Great Hill Close purchased of William Tomlin (6 acres), Stoke's Pightell (1 acre), 2 acres arable or baulk adjoining in Windmill field West Thomas Basterfeild East said Great Hill Close and Thomas Pearce South common field to hold to use of (ii), freed from any other grants etc except 2 mortgages to George Wells, Wavendon, Buckinghamshire, gentleman, for £200, and one to [-] Goreham of Woburn, widow, for £100, and one mortgage to John Vaux of Holcott, gentleman, for £15. Covenant to levy fine, before end of next Easter term, with Robert Phillips and wife Elizabeth, Charles Pecale and wife Julia, William Ridge and wife Jane, John Bird, George Flint and wife Sarah, Henry Sibthorpe alias Butcher and wife Elizabeth, and Bussey Wright and wife Mary, to (ii) and to John Manning and the heirs of (ii), of the aforesaid messuage, land etc, by the name of -- 4 messuages -- 3 cottages -- 70 acres land -- 10 acres meadow -- 50 acres pasture and common of pasture for all cattle in Marston Moretaine, Keysoe, Wootton, Lidlington and Ampthill. (i) will within next 10 years make any other lawful act, deed etc to better assure the title of (ii), if required.
