Examination of Sarah Dudley late of Houghton Conquest, singlewoman.

She is about 21 years of age, she believeth she was born in London, where her father William Dudley and Sarah his wife were legally settled. In the year 1811 at Michaelmas she let herself to Mr White of St Paul, Bedford for a year at the wages of four pounds. She served the whole year thence ensuing and since then hath done no act whereby to gain a settlement elsewhere. She is now chargeable to the parish of Houghton Conquest.
