I was born in the parish of Gamlingay in the County of Bedford on 4th January 1817 and am the son of Thomas Gray of Gamlingay, bricklayer, and Mary his wife. On 16th January 1831 I was bound apprentice by the indentures I now produce to Thomas Reynolds of St Paul in the said Borough, carpenter and joiner for the term of seven years. I served the said Thomas Reynolds under the Indentures and resided with him in his house the whole of the said term. i was married on 27th July instant at the parish church of Milton Ernest to Alice Green of St Paul, spinster.
