  • Title
    Release of equity of redemption: (i) Michael Woodward, Wroxhill, tailor (ii) George Wells, Wavendon, Buckinghamshire, gentleman. Reciting deed of 1 December 2 William and Mary [1690]. Money was not repaid on due date so premises now vested in Joseph Croker and Francis Wells. Reciting also deed of 29 September 8 William III, by which Joseph Croker and Francis Wells, with consent of (i), assigned to (ii) messuage in Wroxhill, in the occupation of (i), 40 acres pasture and arable, also in the occupation of (i), which were purchased by (i) from John Guest and wife Edith. Term 1000 years. To secure repayment of £157 10s. Said principal sum remains unpaid. Now (i) in consideration of further sum of £50 paid by (ii) releases to (ii) in his actual possession, equity of redemption, claim etc to said messuage, closes etc, to secure repayment of £205.
