    Demise: (i) Michael Woodward, Cranfield, tailor (ii) John Guest, Kings Norton, Worcester, nailor, and wife, Edith (iii) Joseph Crocker, Shefford, grocer; Francis Wells, Shefford, draper. (i) has recently purchased from (ii) messuage in Wroxhill, now in the occupation of Robert Crawley, and several closes pasture and arable (40 acres) formerly called Windmill Hill, also in the occupation of Robert Crawley, for sum of £257, of which £137 has been paid to (ii) by (i) and the residue £120 is agreed by (i) and (ii) to remain in hands of (i) for 5 years and then to be paid, together with £30 for interest, to (ii). Until that time (i) may enjoy said messuage without interruption etc. It was also agreed between (i) and (ii) that (i), immediately after the conveyance to him, should by way of mortgage convey the premises to (iii) to secure repayment of £120 and interest (as in deed made between (iii) and (ii)). Now (i), by direction of (ii) and in consideration of 5s paid by (iii), demises to (iii) said messuage and land (40 acres). Term 1000 years. Rent 1 peppercorn. To secure repayment of £150.
