- Date free text1612 - 1858
- Production dateFrom: 1612 To: 1858
- Scope and ContentThis collection of emphemera, consisting mainly of 17th century religious tracts, was probably removed from the Elstow Moot Hall library in 1974 when control of the Moot Hall was transfered from the County Record Office to the Bedfordshire Arts and Recreation Department. Much of the collection came from the Thomas Wyatt Bagshawe collection and several of these had previously belonged to Alston, The Toft, Sharnbrook who had had them bound by J & E Bumpus, 350 Oxford Street. Evidence of provenance is clear on inspection of the individual items
