- Scope and ContentI was 25 years of age the 12th of last September and am the son of George Francis and Rebecca his wife, late of the parish of St Mary, both deceased. I was apprenticed by Indentures dated March 1830 which I now produce by the Trustees of the Harpur Charity to my late father George Francis for the term of seven years. I served him under the said Indentures and resided in his house in St Mary the whole of the said term. I now rent a Public House called the Angel in St Mary of George Peregrine Nash Esq. at the yearly rent of £30. I entered upon it on the 24th June last. I was married on 4th August instant at St Mary to Catherine Farrer.
