I am 20 years of age last February and am the son of James William Banks and Catherine his wife who were married at Christ Church, Lambeth. I was born in that part of the parish of Lambeth in which Christ Church is situate but I do not know the name of the street. At Christmas 1840 I hired a house at St Michaels Street, St Michael, St Albans of Mr Peppercorn for five years from that time by the yearly rent of twelve pounds and have continued in the undivided occupation of the same house up to the present time. I have paid full rent and all taxes for the same up to Lady Day last. I was married this morning (June 7th) at the parish church of St Paul, Bedford to Ann Wootton fo the said parish of St Paul, spinster.
