  • Scope and Content
    I shall be 22 years of age the 29th December next and am the son of John Manyweathers and Mary his wife of the parish of St John, Bedford. On 4th April 1834 I was apprenticed by Indentures which I now produce by the Trustees of the Bedford Charity to William Hoggard of St Peter, Bedford, shoemaker for the term of seven years and served the full term of my apprenticeship. I resided with him the whole time - for the first twelvemonth in St peter and the remainder in St Paul, Bedford to which parish my Master removed. I have worked as a journeyman since the termination of my apprenticeship. I was married on Sunday 8th May instant at the parish church of St Mary, Bedford to Mary Ann Clark.
