I am 20 years of age and am the son of George Swailes and his wife Sarah. I was born in High Town in Luton where my parents then resided and still reside and of which parish my father is a settled inhabitant. I do not know where my father and mother were married. Her maiden name was Sarah Wiles. I have done no act to gain a settlement in my own right. I was married on Monday 11th October instant at the parish church of Luton to Elizabeth Stock of St Cuthbert, Bedford.
