I am 21 years of age, was born in Tonge, near Bradford in Yorkshire where my father resided for about eight months, he had previously resided at York, during the time of his apprenticeship. I have worked for my father at various places during the last nine years. I was never apprenticed to him. I have done no act to gain a settlement in my own right. My father was bound by Indentures to George Glover and Mrs Prince of York to serve them as an apprentice for seven years and he served the whole term of his apprenticeship, and lodged during that period in the parish of St Saviour, York. I was married on Monday 17th February instant at St Paul, Bedford to Sarah Savage.
