I am 22 years of age, was born as I have been informed and believe at Hitchin, County of Hertford, where my father resided, he was a settled inhabitant of Meppershall in this County, and still resides at Hitchin and whilst residing at Hitchin has received relief from Meppershall. I have not to my knowledge acquired any settlement except at Hitchin. I was married on the fourth January at Hitchin to Eliza Rowley, daughter of Joseph Rowley of Bedford.
