  • Scope and Content
He was at St Neots market last Thursday with James Wiles. They were going home and after they passed the bridge at St Neots and got near to the shop in the Ford the girl came up to them and shoved him off the causeway into the road. He heard her say she wanted to speak to Wiles. He walked on and in about 30 yards Wiles overtook him. A few minutes later Wiles missed his money. When Elizabeth Hargrave was brought into the Recruiting Officer she had the same dress on that the woman had when she pushed him off the path. She had a cloak on when she first came into the Recruiting Officer and on her taking that off he recognized her dress.
