I am about 23 years of age, was born as I have been informed and believe in Clophill, where my father now resides.. When about 13 years of age I left my father and went into the service of Mr James Maddams of Clophill, publican, and continued in his service about six years and a half. I then came to Bedford and drove the Woburn mail. Was married on 8th January instant at St Peter, Bedford to Ann Mercy Osborne.
