- Scope and ContentThomas Pettifer: kept a beerhouse in Meppleshall, about a mile and a half from Lower Stondon. On 21 November, 4 men came to the house, and had 2 quarts of beer. Barker, Smith and one of the other men left about 8 o'clock. Pettifer did not see any potatoes sold in his house that night and did not hear any talk of potatoes.
