- Scope and ContentJohn Arnold: between 4 and 5 o'clock on 21 November he left his cart in Mr Coopers hovel in Lower Stondon. There were 3 sacks of potatoes in it. Next morning he went to the hovel and found a few potatoes lying on the floor undone of the sacks untied and between 2 and 3 pecks of potatoes were missing. Arnold would buy potatoes and hawk them around in his cart.
