One hempland adjoining messuage next to the common stream in Puddington [Podington] 2 pightles of pasture (2 1/2 acres) lying in Puddington AND arable lands lying in fields called le Upperfelde, Netherfelde and Littlefelde in Puddington 3 roods of meadow in Broad-mead AND 3 acres of arable and ley in Henwick felde (Hinwick Field) lately in tenure of John Burton senior and since in the tenure of Richard Coppyn AND one tenement and parcel of land called a 'garden platt' adjoining 'abutting on the Parish of Puddington in Puddington' (sic) AND one garden platt separately inclosed near the Spring called Great Well and all his arable lands 10 acres) in the Netherfelde and the Midlefelde and his half acre of land lying in the field called Henwickeshalfelde, then or late in occupation of John Pethit (part of Manor of Puddington, annexed to the Honour of Ampthill) BUT reserved all trees and bushes Rent 27s10d for premises in tenure of Coppin 8s.3 1/2d for tenement in tenure of John Pethit 20 February 5 Edward VI [1551] (b) Letters Patent granting lease for 21 years to Hugo Bromfelde messuage or tenement near the North End of the vill of Puddington AND all houses and edifices to the same belonging AND 3 pightles of land and pasture separately enclosed (3 acres) lying next the said tenement, and all his lands (34 acres) lying in the three fields of Puddington AND 1/2 an acre called Broadmeade "one with the Regall below the meadow called Henwick Hall, late Thomas Tirringham Esquire, in occupation of Hugo Bromfelde (part of Manor of Puddington) AND one cottage and garden platt in tenure of John Hall in Lurbane Lane, in Puddington (?Wymington 40 foot added in pencil) (part of Manor) Exceptions as before.
