I am about 31 years of age, was born at St Paul. When about 14 years of age I was placed apprentice by the trustees of the Harpur Charity to Robert Foskett of Ringstead, Northamptonshire. I served my full term of seven years. The last three months of my apprenticeship I served with my master at Godmanchester where he had removed to. I lived with my master about three months after I was out of my time and removed to Bedford where I have remained ever since working as a journeyman shoemaker. I have never rented a house at £10 per annum or done any act togain a settlement. Was married 10th July instant at St Peter to Maria Young.
