Scope and Content
I am about 24 years of age. When I was fourteen years of age was placed out apprentice by the Trustees of the Harpur Charity to my father Robert Shelton, St Paul, Bedford, carver and gilder. Served the full term of seven years. Since I was out of my time I have worked on my account for various persons. I now reside in St Paul. Was married on the 16th October instant at St Paul to Elizabeth Bryant.
