I am about 26 years of age, was born in Green's Norton in the County of Northampton where my father now resides. When I was about 15 years of age I let myself to Mr Atkins of Northampton, mealman, from Michaelmas 1827 to within two days of Michaelmas following at the wages of fifty shillings. i then went home and remained there about three weeks when I let myself to Mr Gibbs of Towcester, Northamptonshire, plumber & glazier at the wages of £5, I let myself a fortnight after Michaelmas and left within two days of Michaelmas following. I have lived with various masters since but have never remained in any one place for a year together. At Michaelmas 1833 I let myself as a waggoner to Mr Robinson of St Paul, Bedford in whose employ I now am. I was married on the 1st May instant at St Paul, Bedford to Sarah Covington.
