- Scope and ContentI am 23 years of age, was born in St Cuthbert, Bedford. I lived in Bedford until about 14 years of age when I was put out apprentice by the Bedford Charity to John pratt of Eynesbury in the County of Huntingdon, tailor, and served by full term of seven years. I then worked as a journeyman at various places until about the beginning of last March when I came to reside in the parish of St Paul aforesaid and worked as a journeyman to Mr Lilburn, High Street, St Pauls, tailor, until about the beginning of last August when I took a house in Well Street, St Paul, at the yearly rent of fourteen pounds and where I now reside. I was married on 29th October instant at St Paul to Ann Martin.
