I am about 21 years of age, was born at Newport Pagnell in the County of Bucks where my father now resides. When I was about 14 years of age I was placed with my Uncle Henry Meadows, grocer, at Newport Pagnell. I remained with him until the latter end of July or August 1834. I have not done any other act to gain a settlement in my own right. I have lived in St Paul, Bedford about 4 months, was married on Monday 13 july instant at St Paul to Frances Osborn.
