I am about 25 years of age, was born in St John, Bedford where my father then resided and belonged. When about 14 years of age I was placed out aprentice by the Trustees of the Bedford Charity to my father George Francis, bricklayer, who then resided in the parish of St Mary, Bedford. I served my full term of seven years and have remained with my father and worked as a journeyman to him up to the time of my present marriage. I was married on Friday the 22nd May instant at St Mary to Elizabeth Baxter.
