Scope and Content
I was placed out apprentice with the consent of my father Patrick Favell of Thurleigh, farmer, to Richard Shepard of Bletsoe, tailor, for seven years by Indenture (now produced) bearing date 6th June 1812. I served the whole of my apprenticeship with my master at Bletsoe and have not done any act since to gain a settlement. I was married on the 9th instant at St Paul, Bedford to Elizabeth Smith.
