I was placed out apprentice by the Trustees of Harpur's Charity for seven years by Indenture dated 26 November 1827 to John Fuller of Portugal Street, Lambeth Walk, County of Surrey, shoemaker. My Master died in August 1832 and my Mistress being unable to carry on the business gave me up my Indentures and I have worked as a journeyman shoemaker ever since. without doing any act to gain another settlement. I was married at t Paul, Bedford on the 8th instant to Mary Ann Gascoyne.
