I am about 27 years of age, was born in Liverpool in Lancashire. When I was about 14 years of age I was placed out apprentice by my Uncle Henry Drackford to James Frederick Duggin of St Giles, Bloomsbury, County of Middlesex, dyer and silk scourer. I remained with my master until I was 21 years of age. I have worked in different places since as a journeyman and have not done any other act to gain a settlement. I was married at St Johns Church, Bedford in the 5th August instant to Eliza Turner
