There is now due and owing from William Humphreys of St Paul, Bedford, shoemaker, on an Order dated 2 July 1832 made for maintenance of a male bastard child of Jemima Hughes born in the said parish, of which he hath been adjudged the reputed father and of which said Order he hath had due notice the sum of ten pounds six shillings, which he hath neglected and refused to pay, although the same hath been legally demanded of him by the said complainant.
