I am about 21 years of age. When I was about 14 years of age I was bound apprentice by Trustees of Harpurs Charity by Indenture (now produced) bearing date 8 December 1826 to John Nobles of the said parish, tailor, for seven years. I served about two years with John Nobles and was then turned over by assignment to John Purser of St John on the said town, tailor with whom I served the remainder of my apprenticeship. I was married on the 10th instant at St Paul, Bedford to Sarah Hughes.
