    Reciting mortgage of 30 October 1896 between Louisa Phillpott of St Neots, Huntingdonshire, widow, and George Flawn and John Osborn by which property was assured to them to secure repayment of £300. By deed of 11 May 1901 said property was discharged from said payment and released to use of i). Now in consideration of £550 paid by ii) to i), i) conveys to ii) - plot of land at Toddington (21 perches), - messuage, stables etc. erected thereon: N Workhouse lane, E road leading to Dunstable, NW late Messrs Bassett, Son and Harris but now of – SW - Roberts (formerly) but of R W Foll in occupation of Miss Eliza Buckingham; - 3 messuages and outbuildings built by George Phillpot on said plot and late in occupation of Frederick Griffin Johnson, widow Whiteside and Mary Roberts, and now of Messrs Roberts, William Clark and Mrs Whiteside.
