There is now due and owing from James Basterfield of St Paul, labourer on an Order of Filiation bearing date 2nd April 1832 made for the maintenance and support of the child of Jane Harris, singlewoman, born in the parish of St Paul of which he, James Basterfield hath been adjudged to be the reputed father and of which order he hath due notice, the sum of three pounds eighteen shillings which he hath neglected and refused to pay although the same hath been demanded of him by this complainant.
