I am 21 years of age, was born in Kimbolton in the County of Huntingdon where my father John Horsford resided and belonged. He taught me the trade of a bricklayer and I continued with him in Kimbolton until the Spring of 1828 when I came to Bedford and have worked there as a journeyman bricklayer ever since and have not done any act to gain a settlement. I was married on the 23rd instant at St Peter, Bedford to Ann Beldam.
