He is about 20 years of age, was born in St Cuthbert, Bedford, where his father Charles Tingay a carpenter then resided and belonged. His father taught him the trade of a carpenter and he has since worked as a journeyman carpenter in Bedford and has not done any act to gain a settlement in his own right. He was married on 31st January last at St Paul to Mary Ann Huckle.
