I am 23 years of age, was born at Great Linford in the County of Buckingham where my father John Walters then resided and belonged. I have lived in Great Linford until 1830 when I came to Bedford and have worked as a journeyman brickmaker ever since, but not done any act to gain a settlement in my own right. I was married on the 23rd instant at St Mary, Bedford to Sarah Franklin.
