John Wykes of St John, labourer on an order dated 19 April 1831 made for the maintenance and support of the male bastard child of Maria Fleming, singlewoman born in St John of which he hath been adjudged the reputed father of which said order he hath had due notice, the sum of two pounds and sixpence which he hath neglected and refused and still doth neglect and refuse to pay although the same hath been legally demanded of him by this complainant.
