    Lucy Robinson: on the morning of 23 May she missed from a barn, at the back of her house, a plaid scarf, 2 stockings and a shirt. The barn was not fastened and she had seen the items there the previous evening. The items were wet in a basket. On being shown the items by William beach, she was able to identify them. William Beach: on 23 May he apprehended a prisoner at St Neots. The prisoner said he had come from Northampton that morning. On searching him he found the wet scarf, shirt and 2 stockings.
