I am about 23 years of age, was born in Eynesbury where my father Joseph Nichols the elder resided and belonged. I have always lived in Eynesbury and never done any act in my own right to gain a settlement in any other place. I was yesterday married at St Cuthbert, Bedford to Elizabeth Payne.
