I am about forty years of age, was born at Harrowden in the parish of Cardington. In the year 1821 I hired a house and premises of Mr John Sheen of Greenwich in the County of Kent at the rent of fifteen pounds a year. i lived in the house for eight years and paid the rent and all parochial and other taxes and have not done any act since that time to gain a settlement to the best of my knowledge. I was married on the 26th instant at St Paul, Bedford to Sarah Skevington.
