Draft will of John Perring Field, 54, London Terrace, Dunstable, gentleman; friend, Mr Joseph Gutteridge, High Street South, Dunstable, and nephew, Mr Henry Foster, 128, Herries Street, Kilburn, London, appointed executors, and bequeathes £5 to each of them for their trouble. .....To son John, 14, Howard Street, Melbourne, Australia: £20, gold watch and chain, whole of my clothes of every description; .....to daughter, Mary Anne, the wife of Mr Henry Martell, Geelong, Australia: £40, her mother’s gold watch and chain; .... to son Octavius, now or late of Ondit, Australia: £40. Above bequests to be paid duty free. .....To daughters Jessie Evans and Ellen Elizabeth, now living with me, share and share alike: other monies, books, personal estate and real estate (if any); executors to decide any question that may arise in the division of furniture and other effects between said two daughters.
