Abstract of the title of Edward Thomas Burr and William Little Burr to 6 cottages in Edward Street, Dunstable, being a summary of a conveyance of 25 January 1884. a) Richard Harley Crabbe; b) Edward Thomas Burr, William Little Burr. Edward Burr late of Leamington, Warwickshire, esquire, on 29 May 1862 made his will by which he appointed a) and Henry Renny Henderson, Bloomsbury Square, London, gentleman, and John Hooper, of same place, his executors. After certain pecuniary legacies said Edward Burr devised to a) and other trustees: piece of Bull Close, Houghton Regis and Dunstable (40 perches) for the purpose of building a church in the neighbourhood of certain new streets there; £100 towards the cost of building the church or the endowment thereof; .....to trustees on trust: residue of real and personal estate to be divided equally between his three children, at 21, i.e. Edward Thomas Burr, William Little Burr and the Reverend George Henderson Burr. John Hooper died on 18 August 1873. On 16 May 1883 (being possessed of estate as in 1st schedule) Edward Burr died. Will proved on 28 July 1883 (Principal Probate Registry). On 23 August 1883 said Henry Renny Henderson renounced any obligations under the will. The Reverend George Henderson Burr died intestate on 6 January 1884 and his elder brother, Edward Thomas Burr, became entitled to his share under the will of Edward Burr. Now a) conveys to b): property as in 1st schedule, of which one-third is held by William Little Burr and two-thirds by Edward Thomas Burr. Schedule: piece of ground on SW side of Edward Street (formerly Mount Street), Dunstable, being part of Bull Close, NW to SE 80 ft in width, 142 ft in depth; NW Whiting Works in occupation of John Dillon, SE ---, NE Edward Street, SW ---; 6 cottages erected on said piece of ground (as in plan attached).
