I am 23 years of age, was born at Burford in Oxfordshire but my father then belonged to Newport Pagnell in buckinghamshire and died in my infancy. I was placed out apprentice at the age of 14 by my Uncle by Indenture for seven years to Thomas Harris of Olney in the County of Bucks, sadler and served the whole of my time there. I have not done any act to gain a settlement to the best of my belief. I was married on the seventh instant at St Paul to Frances Carter.
