I am about 24 years of age. When I was about 14 years of age I was placed out apprentice by Indenture now produced dated the fourth day of October 1820 by the Trustees of Harpur's Charity to John Clarke of St Cuthbert, shoemaker for seven years. John Clarke in February 1824 assigned over to Elijah Weston of St Sepulchre Northampton, shoemaker for the remainder of my apprenticeship. I served such remainder of my time in St Sepulchre. I have never done any act since to gain a settlement. I was on the 21st instant married at St Paul, Bedford to Ann Wildman.
