Spent whole day before at the Vicarage with Mrs Ellis - she writes Poetry sometimes She liked Mother's picture; Theresa 6 when her mother died. Sees Mrs Ellis as a mother figure Sad about Frederica's trials at Hinwick received drawings from Emmy (later Bromley-Martin) of Downton Castle Aunt Sophie (Wayne) given her two letters from her mother and a letter Frederica wrote saying Theresa's mother was dead. Mama's at Melchbourne; father in Militia. Enclosing some poetry written last year.
