I am 24 years of age. I was born at Kimbolton, County of Huntingdon where my father John Whiffen then resided and beloned. I have resided at Kimbolton until about six years ago, my father who was a coachmaker having taught me the business of a coachmaker and living with my father there till that time. I came to Bedford and worked as a journeyman coachmaker ever since but have not done any act to gain a settlement in my own right. I was married on Sunday last at St Mary, Bedford to Hannah Malden.
