I am about 22 years of age, was born in the parish Williangton where my father John Norman, a carpenter, then resided and belonged. I lived with my fatehr, who taught me the trade of a carpenter at Willington until Michaelmas 1824 when I came to Bedford where and at other places I have worked as a journeyman carpenter but have not done any act to gain a settlement in my own right. I was married on the 27th instant at St Peter abovesaid to Susanna Shepherd.
