However kind 'Mama' is, can't fill place of a mother. Would enjoy sorting out old letters with Frederica Orlebar. Given letters written in March 1872 and a pair of white socks; the last her mother knitted.Account of fortune telling. Effie always made up her mind not to marry till she was 30. So glad. Old enough to write letters to Aunts etc 'without them being seen'.
