I am 24 years of age, was born in Stotfold in this County as I have been informed and believe to be true where my parents Thomas Whitehead and Ann his wife resided and belonged, my father having gained a settlement in that parish by living on a freehold estate consisting of a messuage and outbuildings and about two acres of land which descended to him on the death of his father Edward Whitehead. I have never gained any settlement in my own right. I was married on the 10 January instant at St Paul, Bedford to Jane Moss.
