  • Scope and Content
I am 28 years of age, was born (as I have been informed and believe) in the said parish of St Paul where my parents then resided and belongd. I was married in July 1827 at St Paul to my husband Samuel Hulatt who then resided at Oakley where is father Mr Robert Hulatt the miller then resided and belonged. To the best of my knowledge and belief my husband has never done any act to gain a settlement in his own right and was born as I have been informed at the parish of Oakley aforesaid. I have two children by my said husband namely Samuel aged two years and Mary aged seventeen weeks. My husband had other children by a fomer marriage namely Elizabeth aged eight years, now living at Oakley with my husband's father the said Robert Hulatt, and Charles ages six years who is now living with me. My husband left me on the 10th day of August last and I have never since heard from him and do not know where he is. I am now and have been for a long time chargeable to the parish of St Paul.
